Best Project Award from the Architecture School of New Bulgarian University

For another year, last grade students of New Bulgarian University took part in the Contest, organized by the School of Architecture and design at the New Bulgarian university for the development of an architectural project and interior design of a holiday village.

The event took place in the corporate showroom of KAI with the presence of partners from Ideal Standard,  investors of the complex, along with professors and students from NBU.

KAI, together with Ideal Standard, supported the future architects and designers and, together with the project's investor, presented 3 awards to the selected teams. The students create two types of single-family residential buildings, separated into a small complex, realized with products from the portfolio of KAI and Ideal Standard.

After a difficult choice, KAI awarded the project "Azure Lahas Villas", with author Dimitrina Milenkova. She managed to impress the jury, composed of: L. Kumanova, Marketing Director of KAI, I. Goleminova and Y. Malinov – Graphic Designers and D. Yotkova – Trade Marketing Manager, with an interior that perfectly combines the design, colors and technical characteristics of the KAI selected series. Collections of rectified granite tiles in size 60x120 from the Chateau, Chevron, Merona and Stonehenge series were included in the project, as well as the multi-format Navona series.

The prize is a SPA experience for two at the Belchin Spring Hotel, whose interior, created by the talented architect Mimi Furkova, has won multiple awards and which uses a wide range of KAI porcelain and wall tiles.

Ideal standard also distinguished their favorite, and the investor of the complex chose the final project, which will be implemented on the seashore,nearby Pomorie village in Bulgaria.
